Kory Sorensen
CEO

Kory is a highly dedicated professional who has over 20 years in both business and not-for-profit circles. His experience includes leading both large and small organizations through change and aiding them in developing international strategies. His ability to deliver strong solutions has enabled him to develop contacts in over 50 countries and a large network of people and resources to draw from.

It is through both practical experience and strong research that Kory has developed several proprietary processes to help companies grow and employees to have great success. These processes and resources provide the highest quality of employees to maximize the bottom line of each company and each employee. These concepts have been shaped through the ideas and works of Adam Smith, John Elkington and Robert Greenleaf.

His ability to attract and mentor top talent with innovative thinking and entrepreneurial qualities has been a trademark of the many relationships that Kory has formed over the years.

Kory currently has two bachelors degrees a MBA and Doctoral work in the area of social outcomes for business. He currently sits on the boards of 7 not-for-profits.


Mark deHoog

Mark's has 18 yrs of leadership and business development experience in the non-profit sector and business sector. His extensive knowledge in digital content delivery spans a decade in addition his deep understanding of software development and the fast emerging space of social networks and social media can strengthen the backbone of any business. His unique and fresh approach to leadership, software development and communications brings the best out of people, and in doing so he helps organizations reach their goals. His ability to understand the key elements people need for a ‘stickable’ experience aid him in building usable communications and development strategies. His focus is his strength and his creativity in problem solving keeps things moving.

Mark currently works as a client consultant with a group of technology ‘super geeks’ who thrive on supporting and helping companies navigate their way through chaotic and unpredictable times. Being a part of a multi-disciplinary team enables him to bring multiple experiences with great understanding and depth to the table. He is known as one who takes the time to hear the client’s needs and requirements and then build a team of people, develop good processes, and implement the right strategy necessary to deliver the results within the given boundaries and have fun doing it.

Mark’s ability to listen to the needs of the business, to filter then discern the best solution based on the information at hand coupled with his leadership paradigm and ability to adapt and adjust on the fly is a strong asset to any organization. In addition, his keen sense of finding a better and efficient way to do things is always present in every approach he takes. His Career aspirations are simply put - to be an agent of change for organizations and individuals, build self managing models, to bring out the best in the people around him, and to involve himself in things that improve quality of life whether in his neighbourhood or around the world.

Mark Crocker

Mark Crocker is respected for his creative and informative international teaching and proven leadership. Mark has been instrumental in training thousands of people in Canada as well as bringing hundreds of individuals to learning opportunities in worldwide destinations.

Mark is passionate about developing people for effective cross-cultural engagement in community development. Known as an influential, creative teacher, Mark enables others to reach their potential. Mark Crocker is passionate about providing people with the keys to understanding cross-cultural realities.

Mark’s goal is to prepare people to break cultural boundaries in pursuit of wider and deeper community. Mark is focused on developing people of inter-cultural insight.

His collaborative and insightful leadership style focuses on the care and development of both established as well as emerging leaders. He has been successful in developing the capacity of many teams of various ability, creating healthy partnership agreements and focusing objectives for community transformation.


Ernie Block
Senior Consultant

For the past 27 years Ernie Block has been developing solutions in multiple areas of Telecommunications and Information Technology.

While at TELUS communications he had direct Engineering experience with several types of Special Services provided in the Telephony arena. This included local and long distance toll traffic circuit design as well as microwave radio analog entrance transmission lines.

Pioneering technology solutions has been a part of Ernies skill set all through his career. From 1985 to 1990 he was Project Coordinator with Telecom Canada. This involved high level coordination meetings with several Canadian and US carriers that were building new digital microwave, as well as fibre optic facilities, across the borders in both eastern and Western Canada.

HE spent 10+ years providing engineering expertise with the NORTEL family of PBX equipment. He has been responsible for engineering the additions to the largest PBX networks in the Province of BC.

With additional experience as an Engineering Technologist in the Client Computing this highly customer service related area of computer repair provided opportunities for him to acquire credentials COMPTiA A+, COMPTiA Network+, and MCSA. This work has involved access to the Enterprise Active Directory Servers as well as hands on support of user computers. He is currently a member of the TELUS team that supports over ten thousand computers in B.C.


Corrie Block
International Consultant

Corrie Block holds a Master of Arts in Global Leadership, and is a consultant with Zeitgeist Holdings Ltd, a Hong Kong based development firm. A Canadian educated in the U.S., Corrie has a decade of experience in international training and strategy development. He has provided educational and leadership consulting for the Council of Europe, the World Bank, and a few European governments. He has founded both businesses and NGOs, and his innovations have been published in Consulting Magazine. Corrie is presently working with international clients in the Middle East while studying Arabic.


Wendy Cheung
Consultant

Wendy Cheng, MA, BA, Ed.
Wendy is a seasoned professional with education from Simon Fraser University (BA) in Education and an MA at Fuller Graduate School in California. As a certified BC educator, she has taught in the public and private sectors including elementary and high school, teaching in English as another language. Her teaching experience has taken her to Asia and Australia. As a family education specialist this has led her to other desirable designations such as being a certified marriage educator (PREP)

She is currently working in the community as a family support worker and program director in the Mt. Pleasant area.
Wendy’s passion is to build stronger families through education.
She facilitates classes in parent education and relationship building (premarital and marital). She is also a consultant for couples and families. Having worked in various communities in Vancouver Wendy is aware about the realities families face today. Wendy is gifted for both individual family coaching and corporate training for groups as they relate to promoting healthy practices for families.


Korinn Falconer
International Relations Consultant

Korinn has worked in areas of international business development as both an outside consultant and internally within Human Resource Management. Having lived and worked in both European and Middle Eastern contexts, she is familiar and able to respond with fluidity to the constant and necessary negotiations within emerging markets. She has provided leadership in variety of cross cultural settings, interfacing with both management and personnel. Her unique perspective combined with a collaborative approach and the ability to ask questions eliciting new information, fuels her abilities in creative problem-solving and innovation. Korinn brings to the team an ever-expanding network of international relationships garnered from within both non-profit and corporate sectors in multiple countries.
